With the new Dedicated Servers DX154-1 and DX154-2, as well as the DX294-1 and DX294-2, hosting provider Hetzner is expanding its enterprise portfolio with high-performance systems based on modern Dell PowerEdge™ technology. More power, more cores, and enhanced security features take enterprise infrastructures to the next level.
The Dell PowerEdge™ R470 DX154-1 and DX154-2 models are equipped with an Intel® Xeon® Gold 6741P “Granite Rapids” CPU with 48 cores and deliver impressive performance for demanding applications. The Dell PowerEdge™ R470 DX294-1 and DX294-2 models rely on the powerful Intel® Xeon® Gold 6787P “Granite Rapids” CPU with 86 cores. Thanks to Intel® Hyper-Threading technology, processor resources are utilized particularly efficiently, while Intel® VT enables flexible and high-performance virtualization.
For memory, the DX154 models offer 128 GB or 256 GB of DDR5 RDIMM RAM. The DX294 systems offer 256 GB or 512 GB of RDIMM RAM. For maximum performance and high data security, only Gen4 NVMe SSD Datacenter Edition disks are used. The “-1” variants feature 2 × 960 GB NVMe SSDs, while the “-2” variants are equipped with 4 × 1.92 TB NVMe SSDs.
The Dell PowerEdge™ R470 supports modern accelerator technologies to offload the CPU and optimize data-intensive workloads. Additionally, Intel® SGX (Software Guard Extensions) and EPC (Enclave Page Cache) ensure enhanced security and protected memory areas for sensitive applications. Features such as the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC 10) for convenient server management, as well as redundant, hot-plug-capable power supplies, round out the premium package.
The new dedicated servers are available starting at € 705.70 / $ 830.90 per month, including two IPv4 addresses, plus a one-time setup fee of € 349.00 / $ 414.00.
The new models are operated in the company’s own ISO 27001-certified data centers in Nuremberg (Germany) and Helsinki (Finland). This ensures that all data remains exclusively within the European legal jurisdiction and is subject to the strict requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Customers benefit from maximum data sovereignty and retain full control over their data at all times.
