UK and Singapore collaborate to address cyber threats

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Singapore’s National Research Foundation have announced a joint £2.4million research call, under which this joint research projects will be done for the upcoming three years. This project will be seeing the collaboration and will be developing a solution to probably enhance the resilience system and counter the cyber attacks.  As each and every part and computer of world is connected with each other through internet and many global hubs are also included in it thus it becomes very important to add  cyber security so as to combat the cyber prone attacks.  This joint research programme implements the joint R&D collaboration element of the MoU and has been welcomed by both governments.

The projects that will be funded under this programme are:

  • Security and Privacy in Smart Grid Systems: Countermeasure and Formal Verification
  • Abduction and Interpolation
  •  Computational Modelling and Automatic Non-intrusive Detection Of Human Behaviour-based Insecurity
