According to a swiss /aus team it has been stated that they have been successful in developing a transistor that will be basically functioning many different ways on a single module that has three electrodes. These transistors are normally the basic blocks that needs the electronic devices and the equipment , it will be consisting of silicon crystals that are actually doped. This will be working as a part of nanotechnology.

These transistors are the logic circuits in the computer chips that are doped and have other types of atom.  Instead of three electrodes, as in a conventional transistor, this switch molecule only requires two. The new nanoswitch has now been presented in the specialist journal Nature Nanotechnology.
