Xilinx has recently released the spartan 7 that is an FPGA range that properly claims to deliver I/O intensive devices that are cost effective in the applications. This range will be suitable for the areas like that of consumers, industrial , IOT , data centers and portable medical applications. This will be providing the user with four times more power performance per watt improvement over the past generations , and flexibility connectivity, on the chip functionality.
According to Xilin this range will provide and support Vivado Design suite webpack edition. along with system editions that will help in delivering the IP centric and system centric configuration development. . The Spartan-7 FPGA range will extend the existing Xilinx 7 Series portfolio, implemented in TSMC’s 28nm HPL process.
