Premiere Technical Training Events for Embedded Control Engineers

Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions, today announced that registration is now open for its annual India MASTERs Conference.  This is the thirteenth annual India MASTERs, since the first one launched in 2003.  The conference will take place between 30 November and 2 December in Bangalore.  To register online or find out more about this event, visit www.microchip.com/im.

Microchip’s annual India MASTERs Conference is the premier technical training event for embedded control engineers. This year’s theme is “Inspire. Inform. Innovate.” and will provide design engineers with a forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on Microchip’s large portfolio of products as well as being a design resource for using the products in applications. There will be a broad range of lectures and hands-on classes for engineers at every skill level. In addition, we will be offering multiple classes on recently acquired Atmel products.

Engineers can choose from classes about Microchip’s products as well as general embedded design topics, including the following: connectivity sessions on Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB development and USB Type-C™ interface; CAN FD/LIN, in-vehicle networks development tools and wireless (e.g., Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi® technologies); Internet of Things (IoT), graphics solution and complete 1D, 2D touch and 3D gesture solutions; high-precision analog op amps applications and intelligent power supplies; firmware development; embedded Linux introduction; motor control; latest Microchip product introductions; Harmony ecosystem for PIC32 and using an RTOS; MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC); and introductions of AVR® microcontrollers, Cortex® M0+, SAM E70 Cortex-M7 and ARM® Cortex-A5-based microprocessor units (MPU) acquired from Atmel.  There are a total of 42 classes available, nineteen of which are hands-on workshops that enable attendees to learn more about specific applications by using development tools and writing code.

“We are very excited about the offerings at this year’s India MASTERs Conference,” said Ramesh Babu, Microchip’s sales manager in India.  “The types of technical training courses offered at MASTERs are crucial in reducing development time for our customers.  After the training, I am confident that engineers can walk out with everything they need to get up and running on their new design.”

Additional activities during the MASTERs conference include networking sessions between third-party partners and attendees to discuss relevant design topics, and meeting with third-party development tool experts.  The “Ask the Experts” program allows attendees to ask Microchip engineers questions about design and development relating to any of Microchip’s products.  The “Third Party Bazaar” also showcases development tools that help decrease development time when using Microchip products.  In addition, Microchip’s Keynote session will be held in the evening of day two.  This conference also offers attendees a MPLAB XC Standard Compiler for free.

Registration & Pricing Information

Entry to the MASTERs Conference courses, all class materials and meals are included in the Conference attendance fee of Rs. 5,000.  All participants will also receive a free MPLAB XC Standard Compiler, a Microchip backpack as well as a tool discount coupon.  The final registration deadline is 16 November.  Full details on all aspects of this MASTERs Conference can be found at http://www.microchip.com/im.
