Recently a collaboration has been set up by the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) and involving Bosch Rexroth, Cisco, Intel, KUKA, National Instruments, Schneider Electric and TTTech that are going to develop the world’s first Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) testbed. This testbed has some main areas to focus upon as per the members of IIc . IIc director Dr Richard Soley said that ” we are going to make the test beds that will involve the new innovations and motivations in the field of industrial internet , many new technologies an new opportunities will be set open to be applied on new applications and products streamlined. This would be rigorously tested before launching in the market.’
- they have Combined different critical control traffic (such as OPC UA) and are offering teh best of it for te traffic flows. that is based on the IEEE 802.1 TSN standards
- It will be demonstrating the TSN’s real time capability and vendor interoperability
- will basically provide access to the security and provide feed back as well.
- Show ability for the IIoT to incorporate high-performance and latency-sensitive applications
