Toyota India has recently found to remove stereo from its lower car variants and its not for boosting the profit its just to lower the cost of applying airbags in the cars. This life saving equipment now has flaunt in India as a mandatory thing in cars for some of the Companies. Some of them are actually working over customer safety their top most priority. Toyota, Volkswagen and Ford are some of the companies to increase the safety measures accordingly, although this would make the vehicle expensive but still this is the foremost requirement unde5r the norms.
Some of the companies are coming up as a resistance for this law like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Honda even in their newer car versions. As customers are increasingly paying for the safety but awareness issues still remains the low and they move on with a good music system over airbags.
