Microsemi has recently sold their broadband wireless division to another company maxlinear for about 21 million dollars that too in cash. Previously base division was under PMC Sierra by microsemi in 2015 years that also included the sections related to wireless infrastructure , RF transrecivers and 3G , 4G and 5G platforms.

According to Max linear they will be providing suitable wireless base station transreceiver to grow the suspension bridge for next 5 years market and business .
