Vesper  this week launched latest microphone they have made for consumer electronics in the form of Vesper Quiescent-detecting MEMS Microphone which when fitted to an electronic gadget requires almost zero energy to work.

The VM1010 is a single ended analogue piezoelectric MEMS microphone said to expend 3µA while in listening mode. As indicated by Vesper, the gadget highlights a rough piezoelectric transducer that is invulnerable to environmental contaminants, making it reasonable for outside use and also in kitchens and autos.
