Ultrahaptics, specialists in mid-air touchless haptic technology, has appointed Sir Hossein Yassaie, the former founder and CEO of Imagination Technologies to its board of Directors. As a recognised leading figure and veteran of the electronics industry, Yassaie brings extensive experience of both pre and post IPO technology business to this role, as well as a wealth of relevant market knowledge and senior executive relationships in the industry.

Sir Hossein Yassaie graduated from the University of Birmingham with a PhD in electronics and communication, before embarking on his career working at Inmos, STMicroelectronics and Videologic, which later became Imagination Technologies in 1999.
