Lattice Semiconductor and Mikroprojekt have collaborated and announced that an ECP5 FPGA-based development platform has been developed to accelerate system designing of related communications and industrial applications working on the network edge that will be including HetNet small cells, industrial IoT gateways, and IP cameras. Mikroprojekt’s Kondor AX is featuring a development program platform that will be a low power small factor FPGA with a flexible connectivity and having a high performance DSP that will be image filtering and doing data analytics. It will be working with Linus Operating system and CPU.
This ECP5 FPGA supports the interface that supports the CPRI, JESD204B along with PCI express. to more facilitate this platform there are many other peripherals and displays. It has interfaces like HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, USB OTG , GPIO, FMC, SFP. The development system joins the Linus base operating system and the other software libraries.
