Samtec is an American manufacturer that has been in the market for over 40 years. Its product range includes optical connectors, connectors for printed circuit boards (including high-throughput models), and high-speed data transmission cables. The products from this manufacturer continuously expand the TME inventory – and this week we recommend the new ERM8 connector series.
The ERM8 sockets are connectors designed for connecting printed circuit boards. They are characterized by high contact density (placed in a 0.8mm grid), with a rated current of 1.4A. They are available in horizontal and vertical orientations. Depending on the model, the number of pins ranges from 20 to 150, and their contacts are gold-plated to protect against corrosion and ensure minimal resistance.

Vertical Connectors

Horizontal Connectors
ERM8 connectors allow for high-throughput communication connections, required by digital electronic circuits. They can also function in power circuits and for transmitting low-current control signals. They are suitable for systems requiring the connection of two printed circuit boards, especially in modularly constructed devices.
