FROM CONCEPT TO SCALABLE PRODUCTS

Interviewee:  Chetan Mahajan,Founder & CEO, ThingsLinker

1) Kindly introduce ThingsLinker to us and what inspired you to start it?

I began my journey in technology as a freelancer after working for 11 months in a full-time job. Over nearly five years of freelancing, I worked closely with startups, industries, and innovators across India and overseas. During this journey, I saw tremendous potential in IoT, hardware engineering, and automation — especially the gap between ideas and real, manufacturable products.

That experience inspired me to start ThingsLinker. I wanted to build a company that brings together hardware, software, robotics, and intelligence under one roof. ThingsLinker was created with the vision of turning concepts into complete, scalable products — from R&D to design, prototyping, testing, certification, and manufacturing. Today, we are a team focused on bridging cutting-edge technology with real-world applications to help businesses and innovators build reliable, future-ready solutions.

2) IoT and industrial automation are rapidly growing fields — how do you see ThingsLinker differentiating itself in this competitive landscape?

At ThingsLinker, we go beyond traditional IoT development. Our strength lies in delivering end-to-end solutions that combine IoT, robotics, AI, machine learning, hardware development, and large-scale manufacturing planning. While many companies focus on single segments like hardware or cloud, we integrate all layers — device, firmware, connectivity, data, intelligence, and final product execution.

Our approach is simple:

  • Innovation at the core – We constantly experiment with new technologies such as edge AI, autonomous systems, low-power wearables, and industrial automation.
  • Custom-built solutions – Every client’s requirement is unique, so we design tailored architectures instead of one-size-fits-all platforms.
  • Strong hardware capability – From PCB design to fabrication, certification (CE, FCC, RoHS), and manufacturing, we deliver complete engineering.
  • Focus on robotics and intelligent machines – Along with IoT, we are actively building robotic systems, automation tools, and AI-driven devices.

This multi-disciplinary capability makes ThingsLinker not just an IoT company, but a full technology and product innovation partner.

3) What’s your long-term vision for ThingsLinker — where do you see the company five years from now?

Our long-term vision is to build a future where intelligent machines assist humans in everyday life and industrial environments. In the next five years, we aim to develop advanced automated systems, AI-enabled robots, and smart products that solve real-world problems in manufacturing, consumer electronics, healthcare, retail, logistics, and more.

We plan to establish our own manufacturing unit to support large-scale production and accelerate our R&D capabilities. We are also looking to collaborate with strong investors and strategic partners who share our vision of building impactful, global-scale products from India.

Ultimately, ThingsLinker’s mission is to contribute meaningfully to the connected future — where technology becomes seamless, intelligent, and accessible to everyone.
