DF150 is the first model in the new Defiant Future family of commercial defense power supplies certified to meet MIL-STD810H and MIL-STD 461G standards
Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: AEIS), a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement and control solutions,today launchesthe ruggedized DF150 160 W AC-DC power supply. This is the first offering in the company’s Defiant Future(DF) series of robust, high-reliability standard power supplies for extreme-environment applications across the defense, industrial, telecommunications, transportation and energy sectors.
Backed by rigorous validation testing, the DF150 power supply features a broad spectrum of MIL-STD certifications, combining proven performance with the shorter lead times of a standard power supply. It is certified to MIL-STD810H,with standing harsh conditions including shock, vibration, altitude variations and thermal extremes. DF150 also provides enhanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance with certification to MIL-STD461G. The unit delivers a nominal 27 VDC at 6 A (160 W) with no performance degradation across its extended operating temperature range of -46ºC to +60ºC.With its IP67 rating, DF150 is fully submersible and exceeds MIL-STD ingress protection requirements for dust and liquids.

The DF150 deliversup to 91% efficiency at full load.Itoperates with no minimum load and low leakage (275µA at 230VAC). Its MIL-STD-461G certification includes RE102, CE102, CS101, CS114, CS115, CS116, CS118 and RS103.Advanced Energy offersthe DF150 with conduction cooling via a base plate or convection cooling with a mounted heatsink.
