With the new GEX45, hosting provider Hetzner is expanding its offerings to include a GPU server designed for entry-level professional GPU workloads. Equipped with an NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition, the server offers 24 GB of GDDR7 ECC VRAM and is particularly well-suited for AI applications such as inference and fine-tuning. In addition to AI workloads, the GPU is also well-suited for demanding applications in the areas of 3D rendering, CAD, and video production.
The NVIDIA RTX PRO™ 4000 Blackwell SFF Edition features 5th-generation Tensor Cores with FP4 support as well as 4th-generation RT Cores. This makes the GEX45 ideal for applications where a high-performance GPU handles a significant portion of the computational workload.
The GPU is complemented by a high-performance CPU, 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, and fast NVMe storage. The server is equipped with a 13th-generation Intel® Core™ i5-13500 (“Raptor Lake”) CPU featuring six performance cores and eight efficiency cores, for a total of 20 threads. Two 512 GB NVMe SSDs ensure fast load and access times.
With the GEX45, Hetzner offers a compact entry point into GPU-accelerated computing. The server is suitable for a variety of application scenarios, ranging from AI workloads to professional visualization and rendering, as well as video editing and CAD applications.
All of Hetzner’s dedicated servers are operated in the company’s own ISO 27001-certified data centers in Europe. Data thus remains within the European legal jurisdiction and is subject to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Customers retain control over their data and benefit from a high degree of data sovereignty.
The GEX45 is incl. an IPv4 address available for € 214.00 / $ 249.00 per month, plus a one-time setup fee of € 209.00 / $ 249.00.
