Key Areas of Responsibility
• Specializes in system validation and system integration for solar solutions, validating and optimizing complete systems to ensure reliable interaction between hardware, firmware, and IoT components under real-world operating conditions.
• Responsible for end-to-end system testing, including validation, debugging, and performance analysis of solar power systems, embedded hardware, and integrated subsystems.
• Works closely with hardware, firmware, and quality teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system-level issues, ensuring robust and stable product performance.
• Defines and executes validation plans, test protocols, and system qualification criteria in line with product requirements and industry standards.
• Applies the latest learnings, field feedback, and best practices to improve validation strategies and overall system reliability.
• Works with an outside-in perspective, understanding customer use cases, environmental conditions, and global market requirements to ensure system robustness for diverse applications, including public and government tenders.
• Drives system-level validation of solar solutions, covering power electronics behavior, battery systems, firmware interactions, and IoT connectivity.
• Ensures proper documentation of validation reports, test results, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective actions.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of validation processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Supports cross-functional system integration activities, including coordination with global teams (e.g., SNS, platform teams) to ensure smooth product deployment.
• Depending on grade, contributes to system architecture discussions and integration strategies.
• Depending on grade, mentors team members on validation practices, debugging approaches, and system-level problem solving.
Critical Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with strong fundamentals in power electronics and embedded systems.
• Proven experience in system validation and testing of solar power systems, including power electronics, battery systems, and embedded platforms.
• Hands-on experience in system integration, debugging, and failure analysis across hardware and firmware domains.
• Experience with embedded hardware validation, system-level testing, and performance analysis under different operating conditions.
• Understanding of firmware interaction with hardware systems (good to have).
• Experience working with IoT-enabled systems and field-level validation scenarios is an advantage.
• Strong capability in root cause analysis (RCA), reliability validation, and system troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with validation standards, test methodologies, and industry practices in the solar or power electronics domain.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global environments, coordinating effectively with R&D, quality, and platform teams.
