Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
*Lead or support engineering projects while contributing to the development and management of key suppliers.
*Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic issues with minimal supervision.
*Design or enhance engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and detailed technical drawings for complex applications.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve technical challenges on project-specific electrical systems.
*Develop and implement effective solutions for a variety of complex product-related issues.
*Prepare accurate product specifications independently with limited guidance.
*Conduct detailed engineering analysis for complex products, systems, and designs.
*Plan, coordinate, execute, and document engineering testing activities, including preparing comprehensive test reports.

Functional Knowledge
*Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including ADCs, DACs, op-amps, transistors, MOSFETs, sensors, signal conditioning circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, memory devices, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, RS485, Ethernet), and IoT platforms.
*Experience designing industrial I/O modules, PLCs, PID controllers, and working with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT and DeviceNet.
*Skilled in creating detailed schematics and circuit designs using CAD-based design tools.
*Proficient in electronic circuit modelling and simulation.
*Hands-on experience managing products through the complete development cycle, from circuit design and prototyping to testing, release, and maintenance.
*Familiar with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes (DSO), digital multimeters (DMM), function generators (FG), and electronic loads for circuit validation, board bring-up, functional testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
*Good knowledge of PCB design practices along with preparation of technical documentation.

Good to Have Skills
*Familiarity with product certification processes, including EMC and safety testing at certified laboratories.
*Experience in firmware development using C, C++, Python, along with FPGA and CPLD programming.
*Knowledge of technical documentation, product release procedures, and reliability testing.
*Understanding of product obsolescence management, customer support for field-related issues, and coordination with suppliers.
