Job Description:
*Strong understanding of high-power electronics, particularly in designing DC-DC converters and inverter systems.
*Experience in designing high-frequency magnetic components such as transformers and inductors.
*Practical knowledge of simulation tools including PSpice and LTSpice for power electronics applications.
*Capable of performing both steady-state and transient circuit analysis.
*Able to develop circuit schematics using SPICE-based computer-aided design software.
*Responsible for planning, executing, and completing assigned engineering activities.
*Coordinates and manages small-scale tasks or project assignments effectively.
*Familiar with selecting appropriate EMC filters for electronic systems.
*Good understanding of IEC, CISPR, and ISO industry standards.
*Knowledge of PCB design practices related to signal integrity, high-speed layouts, and EMI/EMC considerations.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives Engineering.
Relevant experience required:
*M.Tech/M.E. with at least 2 years of experience, or
*B.Tech/B.E. with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Skills:
*Hands-on experience in designing power electronic systems, including converters and inverters.
*Proficient in simulation software such as PSpice and LTSpice.
*Basic knowledge or exposure to ANSYS simulation tools will be an added advantage.
Required:
*Strong understanding of electrical and electronic design, with a focus on inverter and converter development.
*Experience managing the complete hardware development cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, verification, validation, qualification, and certification.
*Hands-on experience designing AC-DC and DC-DC converters, along with motor inverters, covering switching device selection, gate drivers, modulation methods, and filter design.
*Good knowledge of Silicon (Si), Silicon Carbide (SiC), and Gallium Nitride (GaN) power semiconductor technologies and their use in improving power electronics performance and efficiency.
*Ability to integrate power electronic solutions into larger electrical systems while ensuring proper system compatibility and performance.
*Skilled in troubleshooting power electronic systems, performing root-cause and failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
*Capable of analyzing analog and digital circuits, including FMEA, stress, derating, worst-case, and tolerance analysis.
*Familiarity with standards such as DO-160, DO-178/DO-254, IEC, and SAE, along with certification processes.
