Key Responsibilities:
*Good understanding of HV inverter, DC-DC converter, and OBC architecture.
*Design and develop power electronics circuits, including gate drivers, DC-link, sensors, EMC filters, isolated and non-isolated power supplies, and IGBT/SiC-based power modules.
*Carry out testing and analysis of gate and control boards to ensure proper functionality.
*Perform simulations using tools like LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, and Mathcad for WCA, while also supporting FMES/DFMEA activities.
*Prepare test plans and execute design verification to validate product performance.
*Coordinate with semiconductor suppliers and technology partners to enhance product reliability, optimize costs, and improve scalability.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline.
*3–5 years of experience in high-voltage power electronics architecture and design.
*Experience in deriving electrical engineering requirements from subsystem and stakeholder requirements using Polarion.
*Hands-on experience in designing and developing automotive power electronics products such as traction inverters, DC-DC converters, and OBC systems.
*Practical knowledge of simulation tools like LTspice and MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.
*Proficient in performing Worst Case Analysis (WCA) using Mathcad.
*Good understanding of reliability testing, electrical validation, and EMI/EMC testing methods for product qualification.
*Familiarity with semiconductor physics and packaging technologies, including DBC, AMB, sintering, wire bonding, and press-pack, will be an added advantage.
*Experience in high-voltage testing and validation, particularly for HV inverters, DC-DC converters, and OBC systems.
*Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
