Support Test Engineers in testing, diagnosing, and maintaining electronic assemblies and equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance, maintain ISO-compliant records, and assist in new project and equipment implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards at component level.
*Use electronic testing and measurement instruments effectively.
*Interpret schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and technical documents.
*Support diagnostic activities to improve process yields and reduce failures.
*Assist in NPI (New Product Introduction) and equipment setup.
*Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
*Follow production procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
*Prepare reports, analyze technical issues, and recommend solutions.
*Coordinate with customers when required for troubleshooting and support.
*This role focuses on electronics testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, process improvement, and technical support.
*Lead and guide test technicians to support production operations.
*Ensure test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to minimize downtime.
*Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, calibration, and spare parts management.
*Set up and commission test equipment for new projects and business requirements.
*Drive process improvements, automation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
*Review test procedures, identify coverage gaps, and maintain technical documentation.
*Improve test yield, efficiency, and product quality through continuous improvement activities.
*Train and mentor technicians, operators, and debugging personnel.
*Investigate new testing and diagnostic methods to support technological advancements.
*Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality requirements.
*Analyze production faults, troubleshoot complex issues, and support repair activities
Required Qualifications:
*Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with managers, customers, and clients.
*Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and make logical decisions.
*Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and related software applications.
*Good PC skills and familiarity with technical software tools.
*Ability to read, understand, and prepare basic technical documentation and correspondence.
*Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with practical decision-making ability.
*Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in standardized environments.
*Basic mathematical skills, including calculations involving percentages, ratios, fractions, and decimals.
