Responsibilities:
*Design, build, test, and support the industrialization of power converter hardware for grid and energy-related applications.
*Develop and improve power electronics topologies to achieve better efficiency and overall performance.
*Take complete ownership of the hardware development cycle, from defining specifications and designing prototypes to validating reliability and supporting production.
*Coordinate with mechanical, thermal, PCB layout, firmware, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure successful product validation and manufacturing.
*Create and carry out validation test plans covering structural, thermal, and environmental testing to verify product performance.
Qualifications:
*Strong first-principles approach to problem-solving.
*Solid understanding of power converter topologies, with both theoretical knowledge and practical design experience.
*Hands-on experience in designing and industrializing power converter hardware.
*Experience selecting high-voltage power semiconductors such as IGBTs, Si/SiC/GaN MOSFETs, and diodes, along with designing gate drivers and analog/digital sensing circuits.
*Good understanding of magnetic components like inductors and transformers, as well as film, ceramic, and electrolytic capacitors used in high-voltage, high-frequency power conversion.
*Basic knowledge of control theory and familiarity with embedded programming.
*Strong practical experience in bringing up, testing, and troubleshooting advanced digital and high-voltage circuits.
*Awareness of UL, CE, and EMC standards applicable to power converter design is an added advantage.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
