Electrical Engineer/Developer

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage change requests and support electronic and mechatronic HMI & Patient Handling systems used in MR examinations.
Work with developers, partners, and suppliers to prepare, manage, and implement SAP change requests while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Coordinate supplier quotations, schedules, material procurement, and validation testing in labs and MRI systems.
Take ownership of selected HMI components, collaborating with risk management, regulatory, MR compatibility, SCM, and supplier teams.
Support sustaining activities including obsolescence planning, cost and quality improvements, issue analysis, and solution implementation.
Prepare development documentation, validation records, and regulatory support using SAP, Polarion, and HP Quality Center.
Coordinate with developers, stakeholders, global teams, service providers, partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Medical Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience in designing, maintaining, or supporting R&D activities for electronic or electromechanical components, preferably in the medical technology field.
Good knowledge of medical standards, especially IEC 60601-1 and HMI-related standards (such as laser standards), will be an advantage.
Ability to independently manage end-to-end planning, validation, change management, reuse assessments, product improvements, supplier changes, and maintenance of electronic devices.
Interest in digitalization, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies, share knowledge, and contribute to process and product improvements.
Strong planning, organizational, communication, and customer service skills, along with initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
