Key responsibilities include:
*Design PCB layouts and develop artwork in line with customer specifications, ensuring technical accuracy, cost efficiency, and market requirements.
*Apply core engineering principles during PCB stack-up design, Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, and component placement to support efficient routing and overall design flow.
*Create detailed PCB layouts, schematics, and engineering drawings using ECAD and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
*Assess the skills and resources required to complete assigned tasks effectively and coordinate accordingly.
*Work independently while contributing as an active member of the engineering team.
*Identify opportunities to improve PCB design processes, reduce design cycle time, enhance quality, and support continuous process improvements.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring PCB designs comply with IPC standards and agreed quality expectations.
*Support a collaborative work environment that values innovation, inclusion, safety, and continuous learning while delivering high-quality engineering solutions. *Consistently deliver quality results, even when accommodating minor changes to schematics or component placement. For major scope changes, proactively communicate the impact on project timelines and schedules to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering.
*5–7 years of relevant experience in PCB design or a related engineering role.
Skills:
*Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, Allegro (Capture/PCB Editor), or similar layout and schematic capture software.
*Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully complete assigned design activities within defined timelines.
*Work closely with manufacturing teams, product engineering, PCB fabrication vendors, and suppliers to develop designs and resolve Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Assembly (DFA) issues.
*Plan, coordinate, and lead small-scale PCB design projects while ensuring timely delivery.
*Ensure all PCB design and review processes are consistently followed in accordance with established standards and best practices.
*Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver quality results while working in a fast-paced environment.
*Possess strong knowledge of electrical and electronic components, including Surface Mount (SMT) and Through-Hole technologies.
*Adapt efficiently to schematic or component placement changes, minimizing project impact, and communicate any significant schedule changes clearly to stakeholders.
*Take ownership of project deliverables by meeting committed release timelines and promoting accountability within the team. *Develop PCB footprints, schematics, layouts, and libraries while adhering to IPC, UL, and MIL standards.
*Working knowledge of CIS/CIP databases, thermal management, and enclosure design.
*Experience with DFM, PCB assembly, testing, and Gerber validation using CAM350.
*Knowledge of EMI/EMC design guidelines and hardware testing.
*Hands-on experience in high-speed PCB design with SI/PI analysis using Ansys or equivalent tools.
*Knowledge of automotive high-power PCB layout design.
