The role focuses on implementing effective PCB design practices and supporting products from concept through mass production while meeting performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Responsibilities:
*Design complex multilayer HDI PCBs using high-speed PCB layout practices.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing challenges.
*Optimize PCB designs to minimize DFM/DFT issues.
*Generate documentation for PCB fabrication and assembly.
Preferred Qualifications:
*5+ years of relevant PCB design experience.
*Proficiency in HDI PCB design using fine-pitch BGA and multilayer PCB boards.
*Strong knowledge of Cadence Allegro.
*Experience with high-speed interface layouts such as DRAM, CSI, and PCIe.
*Experience with power supply and switching regulator layouts.
*Knowledge of PCB materials and board stack-up development.
*Ability to drive projects independently and deliver designs on time.
*Familiarity with IPC standards and practices; CID certification is a plus.
