Talking in the section of latest technology inventions we have with us the 3D printing techniques that is growing rapidly over the years and in many applications. 3D technique has some how rapidly changed the way things are been made. Due to the emergence of this technology in the field of 3D printing it has paved the way to traditional tooling change into hi tech printing . This technique is paving way to change the way the manufacturing is been done over the years.
Recently at the International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, a little known Arizona-based car maker created a media sensation by manufacturing a car at the show. This is basically fully functional car that was created in 44 hours using printing and was assembled in 2 days . This car is called strati in Italian it means layers. According to the engineer behind the scene Michele Anoe this car has been made of layers of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene that has been reinforced in the carbon fiber to make a single unit.
It was a full scale, fully functional car that was 3d printed in 44 hours and assembled in 2 days. The video below shows the car being made.
