Renault is the French car makers that has announced recently that it has already received 25,000 bookings in its first month of Kwid launch. The car was formally launched in September 2015 in India but booking was started in mid week of August. Along with kwid Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon were also there in race though Kwid was able to attract many customers . It has a appealing price range of Rs. 2.56 lakh to Rs. 3.53 lakh and also possess a SUV style. From amongst the 25,000 bookings Kwid has received 35 % of the bookings from tier II and Tier III cities such as Nagpur, Ludhiana, Nashik etc. Of which 40 % buyers are youth and 15 % are female. The attraction point being its economy fuel capacity and low cost maintenance.
With over 175 outlets in the country the company has also showcased the car on the apps where there was no showrooms. They claims that almost 2,30,000 people have downloaded the Kwid app to review it. This Renault product has shaken up the sub Rs 4 lakh range car segment. This French Car maker company has taken up the top position by offering some fine features such as 7 inch touch screen, Media Nav system in it and one touch lane change too. It is powered by 800CC 3 cylinder engine which delivers the fuel efficiency of 25.17 KMpl making it most efficient car in the country.
